Described by music authorities as a remarkable and sensitive performer, deeply musical, with an extraordinary technical mastery of her instrument and a strong international presence despite her youth, Claudia Besné performs as a soloist across Europe, sharing her passion for expanding contemporary and lesser-known works.

As a soloist, she has participated in prestigious international festivals such as the Quincena Musical de San Sebastián and Noia Harp Fest, as well as in concert series like MusaE and Musiklasik. She has also collaborated with various ensembles, most notably the world premiere of Aita Madina's Harp Concerto with the Orquesta Andrés Egiguren. During her studies, she was invited as a musician to the awards ceremony of the Norwegian Music Competition for Young Musicians (Oslo, Norway) by EMCY.

In addition to her solo career, Claudia collaborates with several chamber groups and orchestras, including the Malmö Opera, Rioja Filarmonia, and Female Symphonic Orchestra Austria. She is a member of the Duo Boreal with guitarist Eva Calvo, and the Numea Duo with flutist Olmo Álvarez, among others.

Throughout her studies, she has received numerous awards, including the prestigious Nicanor Zabaleta Scholarship, the CH Study Scholarship, and the 3rd Prize in the 6th International Harp Competition of the Slovenian Harp Association. She has been an active musician with Live Music Now Salzburg and a member of professional orchestras such as Philharmonie Salzburg, as well as youth ensembles like EGO and JONDE. Claudia has received masterclasses from renowned musicians such as Cibrán Sierra (Cuarteto QUIROGA), Isabelle Perrin, Letizia Belmondo, Fabrice Pierre, Gabriella Dall'Olio, Anneleen Lenaerts, among others.

Born in Donostia - San Sebastián in 1997, Claudia began her musical studies at the Conservatorio Francisco Escudero. At the age of 18, she was admitted to Mozarteum University Salzburg, where she studied with Stephen Fitzpatrick, principal harpist of the Staatskapelle Berlin, earning her Bachelor's, Master's, and Postgraduate degrees in performance. In 2022, she completed her Master's in Music Pedagogy at UNIR.

Alongside her artistic career, she also combines her professional work with teaching, sharing her knowledge and passion for music with the next generation.
